The City

After having traveled in South America and caught up with my family in Los Angeles, i've finally made it back to San Francisco, or The City, as people here like to call it. And to bring things full circle, a dinner party was in order. Thanks to Kelly for motivating me to travel and for hosting this, and various other dinner parties. Last nights menu consisted of mini pork meatball appetizers, squash and spinach quiche, garlic mashed potatoes, green salad with champagne vinaigrette, and my favorite part of the meal, a honey-lavender panna cotta. The basic menu, but mostly the quiche was inspired by my mom's homemade quiche when i was growing up. Cheers to enjoying a comforting meal with friends!
