It has begun...

So, I am now on my way to Bogotá, Colombia. The realization that i will soon be in a foreign country is just settling in. It has been far too long since i've traveled anywhere aside from Mexico. On my first of two flights, i got a little warm up in spanish conversation. I was seated next to a young Mexican woman taking a vacation from her work in Los Angeles. We chatted in spanish for about an hour. Work, family, travel... Now, i need to try and get some zzz's on this next flight.
